1 day, 8am – 5pm

Class will focus on accidents, injuries, near misses, fires, explosions, equipment damage, spills, community and environmental damage.  Learn to conduct an investigation – team charter and make-up;  getting the facts – listening, questioning, observing, collecting evidence;  using logical analysis to determine primary, secondary and potential causes;  develop sound conclusions and recommendations;  report writing.  Students will conduct investigations in class using historical incidents OR they may bring in a case history from their company to analyze the alternative approaches.
