<p><span style="color: black; font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">This 40-hour, 5-day course is designed specifically for contractors, military, and government employees who may enforce or must comply with the </span><span style="color: black; font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">EM 385-1-1 US Army Corps of Engineers safety and health requirements. Participants will learn procedures contained within Navy and US Army Corps of Engineers contracts and the requirements of EM 385-1-1, the US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements manual.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: black; font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Topics include: preparation of a site-specific accident prevention plan (APP), introduction to OSHA, the “Focus Four” of construction safety, qualifications and responsibilities of the SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer), AHA (Activity Hazard Analysis) development, site personnel training, emergency response, job site inspections, fall protection, excavation safety, and cranes and rigging. </span></p>

<p><span style="color: black; font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Upon successful completion, participants will receive an E.T.C. Certificate of Completion and the OSHA 30-Hour Card for Construction from our OSHA Authorized Outreach Instructor.</span></p>
