Involved in the area of safety training and auditing for 32 years, Jorge is an accomplished bilingual trainer, experienced course developer and safety consultant. His areas of expertise are OSHA 1926 and 1910 and MSHA 30 CFR. In addition to being ETC’s lead instructor for Open Enrollment and Custom Classes, Jorge finds time to develop and update our various course materials, as well as, takes on consulting projects.

Corey brings a fresh perspective to our training and consulting services. In addition to teaching our Hazardous Materials, OSHA and MSHA classes, Corey develops new curriculum and creates hands-on training scenarios. As a consultant, Corey assists clients in identifying safety and environmental risks, writes policies and procedures and SOPs for daily operations, and develops Emergency Response and Contingency Plans. He is an expert at creating and implementing procedures that deliver safety, security and lifesaving services. His experience in the fire service is a valuable asset for companies that require consulting for new or existing fire protection systems.

Dean has been actively involved in safety training, mine safety, mining, construction management, engineering, environmental and geological exploration since 1980. Mr. Hendzel is an experienced MSHA and OSHA trainer, course developer and safety and environmental auditor. His diverse on-the-job experience brings a fresh and personal perspective into the classroom which is the key to engaging his audience.

Janet is a safety professional with 25 years of experience in loss prevention, loss control, hazard analysis, fleet safety and hazardous materials. In addition to providing safety consultation services, she supports training in the areas of emergency response for hazardous materials and DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation.

Ted, a retired USAF MSgt, is an experienced MSHA instructor who, for the past 11 years, has worked with some of the largest mining companies in Arizona as a safety professional with a focus on site-specific task training. He brings a unique perspective to safety training because of his varied real world experiences. Students often leave his classes with a greater appreciation of the importance of working safely.

Stuart Quist is a motivated and knowledgeable safety professional with 25 years’ experience in the construction and electrical industry trades. He obtained his Electrical Journeyman Certificate in 1985, worked on an Alaskan Offshore Production Platform and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. His teaching experience began as an instructor for the IEC and the ABC apprenticeship programs at Gateway Community College in Phoenix. As an ETC safety professional, Stuart provided safety management services for multiple contractors during the construction of Intel’s Fab 42 and conducted Intel’s New Orientation training required for all employees and contractors on the Chandler site. Currently, Stuart conducts open enrollment and custom Electrical Safety, Arc Flash 2015 and COHE / HazCom / Electrical Safety which is required for Intel temporary workers.

Since retiring from Monsanto / Solutia, Mr. Silensky has served as a consultant for Solutia and other chemical and petroleum companies. His responsibilities covered areas of materials management, research, semi-works, scale-up and full-scale production in both technical and supervisory roles. He is an experienced instructor, author of eight publications and well versed in hazard analysis and accident investigation techniques. Currently, he is involved in the areas of Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Protection as applied to the chemical industry and local small businesses.
