This course is a five-day, 40-hour program of intensive training to fulfill OSHA regulatory requirements listed within Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations 1910.120(e)(q) for General Site Workers. This course is intended for personnel who are routinely involved in the clean-up and handling of hazardous materials. Our open enrollment HAZWOPER training courses in Phoenix and Tucson include topics such as scope, application, and definitions; safety and health programs; site characterization and analysis; site control; training; medical surveillance; engineering controls, work practices, and personal protective equipment; monitoring; site safety and health plans; drums and containers; decontamination and on-site emergency response.
