Contractors working at Intel’s Chandler campus follow the site rules set in their contract and by the general contractor. Most crews need OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction before starting, and work near operating facilities adds training for chemicals, energized equipment and confined spaces. ETC trains crews in Phoenix, minutes from Chandler, or at your yard.
ETC is an independent training provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intel. This page sits under our semiconductor fab construction training.
Who sets the requirements on Intel work
Your contract and the general contractor set the site rules for Intel’s Chandler campus (the Ocotillo campus). Confirm the exact training list against your subcontract before you book.
Core training before day one
Most crews need OSHA 10-Hour Construction, and supervisors need OSHA 30-Hour Construction, before they start.
Work near operating facilities: added training
What sets this work apart is proximity to operating facilities. Crews may need hazard communication for on-site chemicals, confined space training, and for electrical subs, arc flash NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout.
Supervisors and competent persons
Supervisors typically need OSHA 30 Construction and the competent person roles for their scope, such as fall protection or excavation.
Training close to the site
ETC’s Phoenix campus is minutes from Chandler, so crews can train close to the job, or we bring the class to your yard. See on-site group training.
